Today we gave our first cocktail workshop. On this occasion, an introduction to the subject was given, starting with the history of cocktails from 1806 onward, followed by how to mix an Old Fashion.

We explored the word “cocktail” and its origins and took a journey through the history of cocktails, including the Daiquiri, Mojito, Mai-Tai, Bramble and Scheherazade. At the end of the two-hour session, the participants went away knowing all about the origins and history of cocktails, as well as having learnt how to mix a selection of classic ones.
