“Pur is a paradise for food lovers in Barcelona” says Repsol Guide
In a report published this week, Repsol Guide’s journalist Toni Garcia has highlighted both the impeccable service and the underlying philosophy at Pur: their obsession with not disguising the product. The report says that Pur is a “paradise for food lovers in Barcelona”.
The journalist recounts his experience in our country with exquisite sensitivity: “Mushrooms that melt in your mouth, prawns that still smell of the sea, foie gras with grilled onions”. He claims that it is as though Nandu Jubany had read all of the books in Borges imaginary endless library and then had created Pur.
For Garcia, “Pur is heaven and Impur is hell. In the former you can eat and dine as though there was no tomorrow; the latter hides one of the best cocktail bars in Barcelona.”
