Nandu Jubany llança unes mascaretes solidàries per a la recerca contra el coronavirus
Nandu Jubany and the company specialized in high quality gastronomy CSTY, have co-signed a solidarity masks to raise funds for research in the fight against the coronavirus. With the name #AmbUnSomriure, the campaign aims to raise funds for research projects initiated by IDIBELL in collaboration with the University Hospital of Bellvitge and the Catalan Institute of Oncology to curb the epidemic and prevent new outbreaks.
The masks, which have a drawn smile on it, can be purchased through the website https://www.csty.es which comes in packs of 5 units. They are hygienic, cost-effective and reusable masks that comply with the UNE 0065:2020 standard. However, take into account that they do not replace surgical masks which, according to the WHO, should preferably be reserved for healthcare personnel.
However, they should not be used to protect oneself from people with COVID or to protect ourselves from COVID. It is a preventive measure.
Nandu Jubany explains that the idea of the masks arose from the need that the catering sector will have, both to protect professionals and customers, when the situation allows to stop the activity. With respect to the dream that they incorporate, Jubany affirms: “This crisis has been devastating for many families and companies and I believe that it is important that between all of us we try to recover the happiness. One day I saw my good friend Carles Tejedor who had drawn a smile on his face. And I thought it was a very good idea! It has been proved that laughs are contagious. So, when we meet a professional and a client or two cooks with the mask on, we want them to transmit the dream instead of the virus”.
We encourage all of you to participate #AmbUnSomriure to #BellvitgeInvestiga!
